Power outages can have unpleasant consequences, such as a fridge or freezer defrosting, or an aquarium running out of oxygen. With a Smart Power Plug, you can easily prevent this: you set up an offline alert via the menu, so you immediately receive a message on your phone when the power goes out. This is especially useful when you are not at home, allowing you to take quick action.

Connecting the Smart Power Plug is simple: first plug the device into the Smart Power Plug, then plug it into the power socket. Make sure that the connected device does not exceed the maximum load of the Smart Plug.

How to set up an offline alert:

1. Ensure that the Smart Power Plug is added to the app.

2. Check in your profile settings that Push notifications are enabled.

3. From HOME (My Home), go to the menu screen of the Smart Power Plug.

4. Click the edit icon at the top right.

5. On the edit page, turn on Offline alert.

6. A pop-up will appear stating that you will receive a message once the Smart Power Plug has been without power for 30 minutes. Click OK.

7. Click on < to close the edit page.

8. Click again on < to close the menu screen.
